Information and assessment meeting

An information and assessment meeting is the start of the process that can give you multiple outcomes. Whether you wish to try and reach an agreement through mediation, or if you wish to take the matter to court, then your first step is to attend an information and assessment meeting. During this meeting we will discuss openly the issues you are facing. The mediator will go through what to expect from mediation and if mediation is suitable for you. This is a confidential meeting and both clients will need to complete as assessment meeting prior to agreeing to the joint mediation session.

Child Arrangements

Child Arrangements and Parenting Plans can be made through mediation when you cannot agree on arrangements for the children after your separation. The mediation process is less disruptive for the children, quicker and cheaper than taking the matter to court. You also remain in control of what will happen to your children rather than have your child’s arrangements decided by a judge. In mediation you make the decision on what is right for your children. Mediation is a child focused process and we are trained to support parents in dispute to make the best decision for the child wellbeing and needs.

Financial settlements

Time 2 Mediate can help you and your ex-partner agree on how to split money and property, without taking sides. We are always looking for a fair sustainable outcome for both clients. We would need full financial disclosure on property, pensions, savings and investments.
